August 10th to 11th, 2013: National Nerd Night @ 12pm - 12am:
We teamed with National Nerd Night, for benefit of Creative Play Project, on August 10th. The cities that have reached out to or started gathering support in are: LA, Chicago, Seattle, Tuscon, Omaha, DFW, Atlanta, Norman, San Antonio, New York, and Denver.

The general idea was to host an event in each city, where attendance was free and attendees were encouraged to donate to benefit the community. Creative Play Project builds local communities on a national scale (described in the link below) and will benefit immensely from this set of events.

Here's the link to Creative Play Project's video explaining what they do: http://www.creativeplayproject.org/be-inspired/watch-a-video

3N's goal was to raise $30,000 nationally and enable them to completely fulfill their organizational goal of providing games (all already donated and ready to go) as well as training videos and tutorials to many youth organizations nation-wide.

Comic Relief had tournaments and other board games going on for a full 12 hours to help support CPP. We also had up to 50% off back issues. 5% of the money we raised during this time was donated to CPP.
